{"id":8445,"date":"2024-07-09T23:16:42","date_gmt":"2024-07-09T23:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmf-old.abidesites.com\/?post_type=recipes&#038;p=8445"},"modified":"2025-09-05T22:42:01","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T22:42:01","slug":"sweet-potato-bundt-cake","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/fmf-old.abidesites.com\/?recipes=sweet-potato-bundt-cake","title":{"rendered":"Sweet Potato Bundt Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 8451--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Sweet Potato Bundt Cake<\/h2>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"https:\/\/fmf-old.abidesites.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/IMG_2468-150x150.jpg\"\/>\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<p>Indulge in the warm, comforting flavors of our Sweet Potato Bundt Cake, made with Farmer&#039;s Market Foods organic sweet potato puree.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bundt Pan<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>Bundt Cake Batter<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 &#8211; 8 oz Package of cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>2 cups granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 EA large eggs, room temperature<\/li>\n<li>2 1\/2 cups Farmer&#039;s Market Foods Organic Sweet Potato Puree<\/li>\n<li>3 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>2  tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Orange Glaze<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2  cups powdered sugar, sifted<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp fresh orange juice (More as needed for a thinner glaze)<\/li>\n<li>1-2 tsp fresh orange zest (Zest straight over your glaze to get all of the oils)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>For the Bundt Cake<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Preheat oven to 350\u00baF. Generously grease a 10-inch (12-cup) bundt pan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>In a stand mixer, beat cream cheese and butter together on medium speed until smooth. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Slowly add eggs, one at a time, mixing to combine between each addition. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Scrape down the bowl and add in the sweet potato puree and vanilla extract.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Sift together the dry ingredients and slowly add to batter, mixing until fully incorporated. Avoid overmixing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60-80 minutes depending on your oven. A toothpick should come out clean in the center when done. Let cool about 10 minutes, and then carefully flip onto a wire rack. Slowly loosen the pan remove it from the cake. Let cool completely before glazing. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>For the Orange Glaze<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Whisk together the ingredients until desired consistency is reached. Add more orange juice as needed. Glaze cake once cooled.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Alternatively:<\/strong> Prepare batter as directed; pour into 2 greased and floured 8 1\/2- x 4 1\/2-inch loaf pans.
