{"id":4270,"date":"2014-02-18T16:12:11","date_gmt":"2014-02-18T16:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmf-old.abidesites.com\/?post_type=fmf_recipe&#038;p=4270"},"modified":"2023-05-23T21:57:30","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T21:57:30","slug":"baked-pumpkin-donuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmf-old.abidesites.com\/?p=4270","title":{"rendered":"Baked Pumpkin Donuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>These baked pumpkin donuts are delightfully easy to make, and taste great with the morning cup of coffee!<\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 7412--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Baked Pumpkin Donuts<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups All-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp Pumpkin pie spice<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp Baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>1 can Farmer&#039;s Market Organic Pumpkin Puree<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups Sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup Vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp Unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Topping<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>3\/4  cup Sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp Ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp Unsalted butter<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>For the Donuts:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Whisk the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and salt together in a medium bowl.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Beat the pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, butter, vanilla and eggs and together in another large bowl until smooth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and beat until just combined.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Fill three 6-cup nonstick doughnut pans with the batter so that each mold is almost full.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Smooth the tops with a moistened finger.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Bake the doughnuts until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 15 minutes. Invert the doughnuts onto a cooling rack.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>For the Topping:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Stir the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p> Working one at a time, brush the doughnuts all over with butter, then dip them in the cinnamon sugar to coat.
